Where greed is lost in endless night,
No souls are sold for glittering gold,
But kindness reigns, both young and old.
A helping hand, no gain in sight,
Just hearts that guide us to what’s right,
The ill are healed, without a fee,
In a land where care is truly free.
Equal rights for every creed,
Jews, Christians, Muslims — all are freed,
From chains of hate, to live in peace,
Where wars and conflicts finally cease.
A child can play with pure delight,
Unburdened by the world’s dark plight,
With water pure, and skies so blue,
Where good prevails, and evil’s through.
No more the strife of party lines,
No lobbyists with hidden signs,
Colonial past, a lesson learned,
Respect is now what we have earned.
In this world, so bright and clear,
We cherish all who venture near,
Not for their roots or where they’ve been,
But for the hearts and souls within.
